Did the dealer give you an expected delivery date? Or do you have to wait until they get another allocation slot?

Dealers just hope to get the cars in before the ship leaves port but if they don't you can wait several months. I ordered 2 cars last year in April an Allroad and S7. The allroad arrived in June and the S7 arrived in December. I am sure productions on the S7 are much higher now and delivery times are shorter but don't count on Dealer arrival dates. Once it gets to port tell your dealer to put a rush on the preliminary inspection there.
