Any word if the “fix” for the fix is in?

This thread has been quiet for a while, has anyone had the fix done on their car? I received an official recall notice in the mail from Audi telling me to schedule the fix so I assume the fix is now in place. But I am in no hurry to have it done and would like to hear from those who have what their experience was. Thanks my fellow Audi Fans

I got the recall notice this week and scheduled my repair online for the 24th at Audi of Bellevue, the dealer promptly called back and said they were slow to get parts and are scheduling for 1st week of February.

Default Bought my 2016 S7 on Nov. 28, PODS done before pickup!

Bought my 2016 S7 on 11/28, and I guess my timing was lucky because the dealership (Audi Exchange in Highland Park IL) was able to do the PODS repair before I drove the car off the lot. Unfortunately I can’t share any details on how long it took because I bought the car on 11/28 and wasn’t able to pick it up until 11/30, so the dealership had two full days to do the repair.

Sounds like this recall may be similar to the SO's Q5 Auxiliary Heater recall where parts may be available when you go in, no guarantee. Oh well, love my S7 so no rush as everything appears to be working in my car. Chitown, sounds like there was no evidence of a major dismantling of your car so I guess that is good news that the repair is not too difficult. Congrats on the new ride, post pictures soon.
