discount off

Was talking to my dealer and ask him what was the best price he could give me for a load s7? He said MSRP, there was no reason to discount because they are limit quanities for each dealer. So i said i will get back to you . Was anyone able to get a better price? Plus im a first time Audi buyer also

Here's how I buy them. I don't go through a salesman. I don't waste my time or theirs. I call or write a letter to the sales manager and say something to the effect of "I realize you have to make a profit and I respect that. So come up with an amount of profit OVER INVOICE and let me know." NEVER work off of MSRP. Now I always order my cars and don't have to go test drive them, etc. This is how I bought both my S4 and S7 and it has worked very well. Depending on where you live, try to go to a smaller dealer who may not have the demand that they can get full pop.

ordered a 2014 s7 in garnett red comfort seat inovation package and cold weather and the new black optic delivery in late sept. cannt wait turning in my mb e550 cab been a fun rude but looking forward to a new adventure with the audi.

No, but i heard of dealers marking up the car by about 1-2 k because each dealer only gets so many of these s7 and their a hot car. I did a edmond search for s7 across the U.S. and only found 8 total for sale .

I have heard the same and suspect it will be worse for the RS7.

So, since you don't have the relationship with the guy, change up your negotiations with the dealer. You want the S7, he doesn't want to discount because he thinks he can get full price. If he's a decent sales guy he wont negotiate against himself, and he wont discount a car with a casual onlooker.. I've seen R8's sit in dealers and eventually get discounted.. you can get tons knocked off 911's. As long as you are reasonable, I don't see why they wouldnt be.
