Engine Coolant & Transmission Cooler Problems?

Engine Coolant & Transmission Cooler Problems?
Hi all,
I drive a 2013 Audi S7. just a few days ago i got the "Switch off engine and check coolant level" warning. i checked the coolant level and its was almost empty but got to replace it just in time before the temp gauge started to rise.
Took it to a dealer local and they have told me the following:
1: The coolant has fixed with the Transmission oil and that the Transmission cooler needs to be replaced to solve the over heating/coolant issue.
2: A coolant and gearbox flush must be completed after the replacement.
Anyone have the same issue or and i been taken for a ride
