Engine Start-Stop/Cylinder On Demand?

Clint, I believe he understands full well that it's not a feature of the S6/7. You made an editorial comment and all Snagit did was point out that the implementation of Start/Stop in North America was such that, if it was in fact a feature of our cars, it would essentially be invisible to the owner (in the respect that you could turn it off and forget it was ever there).
Please don't discourage other owners from browsing the "S" forums and contributing. It would be a far lonelier place if we balkanized.

After 13 years on AW and having owned four Audis, I would hope that I have something to contribute and would be welcome in any of the forums.
That said, the day that AW forum members feel that their model forum is only for those that own that particular model, it will be a sad day indeed.

I just saw that snagit had quoted my initial post and thought he was misunderstaning the question (thinking that OP was asking about A6/A7 start stop)
I can see how my response is worded poorly, and implies a snobby attitude towards the forum, that wasn't my intent
