Vibration Issue

I seem to have an issue when turning the steering wheel all the way to the left or right at sharp turns when the car is at i stop and i accelerate a vibration occurs until i complete the turn, has anyone faced the same? the guy at the dealer informed me that this is common in the 2014 S7 models and that its part of the active steering sensor or somesort so i just wanted to make sure if it was true or some crap he made up in order to end the call?

I have a 2013 S7 and have never experienced that issue.

Yep. It's natural for all wheel drive cars and occurs across all brands of cars. There another thread, I believe in the S6/A6 subforums that explains this mechanically. If I have time, I'll find it and link it

Actually, all C7s (A6, A7, S6, S7) have the ADS for steering - Dynamic, Comfort or Individual settings. Not positive if the steering system itself is different with S models but I think it's also the same. However the Sport differential could be a factor in the steering design - as I said, I'm not sure.

As for the dreaded brake dust, there have been several threads addressing this. Many of the members recommend Armor All Wheel Protectant. I tried it a couple of week ago and am impressed - it seems to work pretty well at keeping the dust from sticking.
Some caveats: the wheels need to be clean and dry before applying, be sure to liberally spray all of the wheel surface and it works best if left to dry overnight. Wal-Mart had it for about $6 a bottle which should give you about 2 applications. Claims are it should last about 30 days.

Some AW members have posted they switched to ceramic brake pads. They create less brake dust but it's reported that they don't have the stopping power of the OEM semi-metallic pads when cold.

Snagit and everyone else with regards to ceramic pads. I checked my dealers website yesterday with reference to the 2014 a7. (Prestigeaudimiami.com) and they have three(besides mine) that are arriving in the next 12 days. I looked at the spects and they have ceramic brake pads on the prestige. Between that and Cilajet I'm hoping to have minimal issues with brake dust.

Can someone explain the reason behind this? as i find it a bit odd when u pay 90K on a 2014 model that ends up vibrating with every turn of the steering wheel without a solution?!
