I finally got the APR stage one for my 2010 A5 2.0T
Unless I'm posting in the wrong section and this is just for really, really wealthy people.
Just point me in the direction of the working, mid-class level American section.

If this were the AMG forum you would have people with the ability to afford those cars. Don't understand why you are turning this into a "class conflict" issue?

My point was that a poster told the original poster to "just get an S5 and stop playing around." Well, that'd be great .. but maybe they can't? That's all I'm trying to say.
And, like I said, being in the market for an S5 ($50k+) and opting out to get an A5($37k+) is different than vise versa .. atleast to me it is. Being in the market for something is different than saying, "I can afford both cars, which one do I like better?"
Again, appologies for making it seem like a class issue. Not my intention. Didn't realize the forum was specifically for people who can afford both cars.
More power to ya'!
I personally do not believe the A4s to be faster than their respective A5s despite what Audi USA states, but my point here is that they are so close performance-wise due to sharing the B8 platform, using the same engines, and having similar dimensions and curb weights, that it really boils down to the driver. In other words, it's nothing worthy of being on a high-horse about.
And like g02sle3p said, I can afford an A5, doesn't mean I can afford S5, at least not in Canada where S5 is 65k+, my 2.0T is already 44k (I paid off my 2006 TSX as well). Not that I cannot afford, I just couldn't justify paying so much when I'm only 27. I should be saving up for a house in the near future. Guess it all comes down to priority. Obviously if I had a house already for some weird reason, I would opt for the S5 no questions asked.
I will keep you guys posted.

I'm fine with anyone in the A5 family and their motives. I would have loved an S5 but for me the car felt too heavy and those seats are designed for me when I was 20, not now
