Default AMI Retrofit A8 D3

Hello

I have an Audi A8 03/2005. I want to put AMI. I found a used AMI with part number 4E0035785B, is it compatible or i need 4E0035785F?

Thank You
Dimitris

Looks like it will work. The most important part is the MOST.

I installed it right when it came out as a separate part in my 2006 US spec W12. Back then there was not even a suffix letter on the part #. Thus mine must be either be equivalent to an "A" or a pre-A version wise. Works 100% and takes the MMI updates of course, one of which actually modified the AMI interface a bit to display more track information.

On early AMI units, there is a firmware update that is available.

3360 for the USA version is the minimum for AMI, which was the revision level as of about late 2007. To run MMI update at or beyond that level, in turn you also needed a Navigation map version beyond the first one (2004/version 4 in USA).

I did a search on car-part.com and found a junkyard that had one.
