HUD Impression
Just curious what people's impression of the HUD on the prestige model are like. I would love to see various real world pictures if anyone is willing to post a few.
There are no prestige models available in my area so I can't go look at them in person. But what I've read it says it's a full color 7.9 by 3.1 inch which seems to hover 6.6 feet in front of the driver.
I'm also curious what the differences options are with and without drivers assistance package. From the imagines below it says that it will display the speed limit sign and also how many feet before you reach a turn.
I chose to not go with the drivers assistance package. Would like to know what I'm missing out on in the HUD without that package.

The only thing missing without the Driving Assisstance Package would be the lanes shown in the middle. The speed limit sign is visible as long as it captures the sign, so without navigation on, you would see only the speed sign and your speed below. As far as visibility, yes it looks like it hovers in front of the hood. I test drove one during the day and it was very easy to see although if you use polarized sunglasses it will look very dim if at all. You can also move the position of the HUD in fo within a certain square which is nice depending on how you and others arrange the seat.
