Default Semi-Secret Storage!?

The trunk is large and regularly shaped, and small-item storage is good; there's even a semi-secret chamber to the left of the steering wheel, big enough for a couple of water bottles.

From:
2017 Audi A4 Review, Ratings, Specs, Prices, and Photos - The Car Connection

Where is this? Don't have the car yet but purchasing it soon. I test drove it like 5 times and I never noticed this!

Anyone w/ a pic?

Cheers!

This is going to be great for my Glock and wallet. Also heard the car manual fits perfectly in there too but I'm going to put that in the trunk I think and leave room in the glove compartment. Who knows, I'll figure it all out when my car gets here.

That compartment is designed for the owners manual and literature so that it frees up storage space in the glove box.

iPad mini fits there perfectly in addition to the owners manual and even leaves some space for other stuff.

Seems it would be a lot easier to access the storage compartment next to the steering wheel on a daily basis and put the owner's manual in the glove box, which rarely gets used except by the passenger when I say, "hey, can you please reach in there and get...?"

My harmonica case fits perfectly in there. (What else is there to do at a traffic light?)

I realize you don't have your car yet - but when you do, I think you'll quickly see that there's no way the owner's manual will fit in the B9-A4 glove box
That's why my manual resides in the little net on the left side wall of the trunk - same as my Q7. My wife quickly laid claim to the glove boxes for "her stuff"

Ahhh, got it. And yes, I'm familiar with the net on the left side wall of the trunk. Perfect place!
