Default Red leather seats

I have just placed an order for a S5 with red leather seats (Daytona Grey Coupe)...

I'm concerned that they may get dirty from dye transfer from jeans etc... Is this a real problem with the red, or is it easy to clean/ protect against?

Should I consider changing to the black leather?

I have magma red leather and wear dark jeans often. I have seen dye transfer but I coated my seats with CQUARTZ leather when the seats were new and so far it only takes a damp cloth to wipe them clean.

Check out GYEON LeatherShield. Apply it as soon as you get the car.

Loooooooooooove my magma red seats. They get so many compliments.

I'm in a loaner A5 with black leather and it's so boring.

No real issues and I purposely had black leather the last 5 years for that reason. Glad I went with magma. I wipe them down with Zaino cleaner every 3-4 weeks and they stay clean.

I had some minor blue dye from jeans on the drivers side bottom bolster and it wiped off with a damp towel. Not a deal breaker by any means.

People have had some significant wear on the red leather in a short period of time. There's another thread on it.

Not saying we know if its a problem limited to red, but red is showing it first.
