Windshield Washer Reservoir Tank Removal (DIY Guide)
Just in case you need to remove the window/windshield washer reservoir tank, here is my Do-it-yourself (DIY) guide. (Revised 6/25/05):
1. Jack up the drivers side front of your car and remove the wheel, pictured below:
2. Remove the wheel liner. There are two 10mm bolts and eleven T25 torx screws around the inside of the fender. Once the liner is loose you will have to wiggle it around until it finally pops off, but it's not too hard. This pictures shows the wheel liner out of the car.
3. Now remove the three 10mm bolts holding the washer reservoir, two of these bolts are now exposed where the wheel liner covered them. Remove the two bottom bolts pictured here:
4. Now remove the top bolt. Pop your hood open and find the windshield water reservoir located to the right of the ABS pump & E.C.U. pictured here:
5. Now remove the hoses/wires to the tank. The sensor connection will slide off as you move the tank out of the car - have a bucket handy to catch the spillage from the tank.
