Perhaps if you shouted a little louder?

Default Step1. Edit this post...unless you intended to shout at everyone?

Step 2. Does the heater/ac work? High beams?

Vag-Com scan...use the locator in my signature to find someone local to you.

Default SCREAM INTO WINDOW TO TRY AND SHATTER GLASS...

THEN USE A VERY LOUD HAMMER TO POUND ON THE DOOR SO YOU CAN MAKE A HOLE LARGE ENOUGH TO GET YOUR HAND INSIDE AND RIP THE DOOR LOCK OUT WITH YOUR BARE HANDS.

THEN FIRE UP YOUR 15HP AIR COMPRESSOR AND AIR CHISLE AND CUT AROUND THE SUNROOF ASSEMBLY BEING CAREFUL NOT TO SCRATCH THE HEADLINER.

WAKE YOUR NEIGHBORS BY YELLING INTO THEIR WINDOW THAT YOU NEED A RIDE TO THE LOCAL GRAVEL PIT WHERE THEY ARE BLASTING AWAY SO YOU CAN PICK UP SOME VERY LARGE ROCKS TO THROW THROUGH YOUR WINDSHIELD VERY LOUDLY. IF ALL THIS DOESN"T WORK YOU CAN ALWAYS

obtain Vag Com and see what is really going on.

I'm experiencing a similar issue! Only this car has been parked outside for something like FIFTEEN years. There's just NO reaction from the window and/or sunroof controls... Resetting is definitely NOT an option, as the battery has been disconnected umpteen times....

Surely this must've happened to someone else as well?!

I would guess a comfort control module has experienced water intrusion, but scan with VCDS (aka VAGCOM) to diagnose the problem.

Thanks for your reply! I used my VCDS to scan for issues, but none were reported in that area..
