Anybody tried to tilt up the second row middle seat?
There is no mat for the third row, basically to protect the built in floor carpet. I am planning to cut a removable mat that fits there and it would be easier task if I could tilt up/remove the middle seat in second row.
Also it would be easier to clean, just in case, if the middle seat could be tilted up.
Of course, normally there is no lever to tilt it up, but there are signs that the middle seat is not just screwed to the floor, but it is fixed similar way as the side seats, so there is a chance that it can be tilted up with some hidden way.
I tried to find out by examining without removing plastic parts, not success yet.
Does anybody know if the middle seat could be tilted up somehow?

Thanks for the tip, they only offer rubber mats, I would prefer plush. Anyway I am not looking for a mat anymore, I am handy, will try to cut one, if I will not like it I will lookup something, but not now.

I opened the plastic cover of the middle seat, but only could see huge bolts fixing the seat to the frame, I was not able to identify possible ways to fold the seat up.

Some guy posted here a while ago about how he removed the middle seat in the second row to turn the second row into captains chairs. Perhaps that may help you, however, I am unable to find it. It think it was a link to another Audi board
