Recently I bought a 1997 Audi A4 B5 1.8l auto and I'm relatively new to Audis in general. I was wondering at what engine rpms you guys are turning over when cruising at around 100-110kmh. It cruises at around 3500 rpm and I was just wondering if that was higher than usual. Apologies if that was a dumb question I'm just curious.

I do not have the same vehicle as you, and do not have a 4 speed auto, but that is definitely too high RPMs for the highest gear. Do you know it is in 4th?
