Here's my Q5 Prestige (3 weeks old) after I put some Zaino on. Not bad I'd say

So how long did the Zaino process take you? I almost went with Zaino a few years ago but it just seemed like a ton of work.

Well - it did take some time. I washed the car on Saturday and put it in the garage overnight. When I woke up in the morning on Sunday I started the process at 6am - got done at 10:30 am after two coats and spray after each coat. I'm 43 now and used to do this stuff when I was in my 20s with my car. Although a lot of work I forgot how satisfying it is once done and how it helps you connect with your car

Thanks for the kind words folks. I'm just so happy for many reasons - I used to be a gear head and then marriage and kids put that on pause for the last 10 years. So nice to love a car again and love taking care of it. This is my first Audi and I'm beyond impressed - 2 months of ownership now!

Interesting, I'm in a similar situation when it comes to the "gear head" thing. I'm looking to purchase an SQ5 but I need to sell the Shelby first, I'm nearly losing sleep over the decision but I just dont drive it much and it's hard to enjoy without worrying about a ticket and dings.

Nice job on the detail, I take that very seriously also.

That is the thing about sports cars - they are mostly only fun when being driven in a way that can lead to tickets. I learned that when I bought a Ducati 996 motorcycle. Not comfortable and only fun on a track. I ended up enjoying my dual-sport so much more, and it was 1/3 the cost. With the Q7 I can set the ACC to a reasonable speed and let the car drive.
