MMI version update
When updating navigation database, the MMI version is also updated.
Does the MMI version updated includes any new features or improvements?

i told them to jump in a lake
i bought a nice gram RV GPS for $25o with lifetime free updates
even better display and features
i dont use the GPS in the car anymore

I am using the Audi TDI $500 dealer card to pay for most of my update.... but still waiting on the proper software to actually do it. Audi does not do a good job in even making the updates available... My '15 could have been updated in 16 which didnt make any sense.. but the '17 update was supposedly cancelled and the '18 is now available BUT some other code that isnt available is needed to make it work (per the dealer).

A few months ago I updated my 2010.
I was was disappointed that the street that I live on (new in 2014) was not on the update. I haven’t really noticed much difference, but many more POI are in the system now.
If I had to do it over, I wouldn’t go through with it again. I was able to talk my dealer down to I think around 350 or so.

A few months ago I updated my 2010.
