Default Blood pressure spike :-)

Less than 24 hours to go till I pick up the SB and I'm strangely excited. It's not like I have not picked up new cars in the past. Guess it maybe because I know that the car have been sitting at the dealer's lot since Tuesday but sales guy is working weekend this week so when he asked if we can wait till Friday to finish all the paperwork. Being the mature person that I am, I said "no problem" :-P. But knowing that it's there and all the ashes from the Sonoma fire is settling on it is like an itch that you cannot scratch (I know they will prep and clean it for delivery). The last time I remember feeling this way was back in 1999 when I was waiting for the 1st SAAB Viggen to be delivered to my local dealer but that was 18 years ago. At my age, this should not be happening anymore or should it ;-P.

It's when it doesn't happen that you should worry!

If the anticipations of getting an A/S5 Sportback doesn't excite you, then you are probably dead!

Good on you for not being that.

Yea, I guess I should be glad that I'm still feeling the rush but it's not doing my blood pressure any good. Hope I can sleep well tonight or it will be worse tomorrow/ ;-(

I know the feeling. The vessel that has been carrying my order docked in San Diego last Sunday. I've been hoping to get a call from my dealer in LA this week so I can pick my new baby up. But I'll be traveling to the east coast tomorrow and won't be back until the 29th. While my rep reassured me that no one will touch my car while I'm away, I can't help but feel anxious about my new car just sitting there for a week like a puppy on a shelter waiting to be taken home.

Ouch! I feel your pain. If it's bothering me that much for a 4 days wait, Having to wait till the 30th must be torture ;-P
