Will 2015 s8 Wheels Fit a D3?
hi all,
wanted to know if these 2015 21” s8 wheels would fit my 2008 D3, and if i require any hardware.
Thanks.

Of course it will fit, the only thing you need to know the ET (offset) and wheel width and after that its easy to figure our what size spacer you need to make it fit perfect.
BTW 21's on a D3 are and amazing fit

The hub centers on a D4 and most newer Audi’s are 66mm instead of approx 57mm like D3’s. Bolt pattern is the same. Thus you just need the hub centric adapter rings for center hole. Metal preferred. Offset on D4 wheels is a bit more aggressive (about 9mm), which looks good on D3 to most.

will 265/35/21 work on the D3?

Close to an inch bigger in tire diameter than the std D3 A8 sizes, and probably at least 1/2” bigger than the 275/35-20’s used optionally on later D3’s and the W12. 265/35-20 was the D3 S8 size, so also an inch bigger wheel w same aspect ratio. Look at the upper steering knuckle where the upper control arms bolt up. That will be your critical clearance. I don’t recall a post on it for D3, but I’m concerned it may not clear there. There won’t be an issue width wise.

im running a 275/30 on my car a 265/35 will fit if you are either at stock height or just slightly lowered as it might cause a rub against the upper arms
