2018 A4 Technik needle sweep & VIM
Hi, I have bought an OBD11 to make some mods and when I want to add the needle sweep, it seems that it is not possible. When I get in the Dashboard menu in OBD11, I cannot change anything, I can’t even get into long coding, I always get the « something went wrong » message wherever I go in that menu. Anybody knows if this is related to 2018 B9 or is it an OBD11 software problem?
Also when am I suppose to go to change the VIM?
Thanks for your help.

It may be your Android device. The OBD11 is VERY particular on the Android device you use. I tried it first with a cheap tablet and got the same messages as you have above. Wouldn't let me do anything. Bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab A at Best Buy for $149 and works flawlessly. Try a Samsung tablet and see what happens.
