2007 Audi Q7 aftermarket stereo installation problem
Hi all , I bought one of those aftermarket car stereo to replace my CD changer but I realised it is not a straight forward job. When I took out the cd changer that I saw there is 2 set of cables going behind the cd changer, one is optical cable the other one is power cable which don’t match behind my new stereo. What is the best way to connect my new stereo.Here is new stereo and cd changer pictures.Thank you for your advices .

How did you do Ramazan? I guess not. Q7 Communication with the optic is not made yet?
sanırım olmaz. Q7 optic ile haberleşme yapılmakta yeni aldıgınız unite optic giriş yok ?
bu yuzden olmaz. benim anfim değiştiğinde yeni anfi takmak istediiğimde çok ugrastım optic port oldukları için orjinal takılması gerekir yada sistemi komple değiştirmek gerekiyor.

Make sure you have MMI 2 unupdated version. I bought these but because I updated my map to the latest version it didn’t work on mine. Make sure you MMI2 software is on the original version. Otherwise it won’t work with these. There might be other solutions but I don’t know. Mine sitting in the box.

I think instead of buying the optic cable maybe buy this set. Because it also has another cable for power extension

you need to attach power cable one side to original strero which you need to keep as well as the after market stereo and other side to the after market stereo.
