Default Please reduce oil level

Hi All,
Hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year.
Looking for some help with my Audi A6 Black Edition which I’ve had for 6 months, it’s on a 65 plate with only 14,000 miles on the clock.
For the past month I have an a warning in the MMI system stating “please reduce oil level”. It’s been into Audi twice about the same issue. The first time I took it they did an MMI update and replaced the oil, was told this would fix it. A week later the same message displays. See the error message here:

https://ibb.co/eNt19w

They have had the car now for over a week and half ‘investigating’ the issue but can’t seem to get to the bottom of it. I’ve read a few different threads here of people having the same issue but no definitive answer as to what may have been causing it and the fix for it. They said that they have checked all the electrics and the sensor and they cannot see any obvious issues... yet the error messages displays?
After being in today and speaking to a ‘master tech’ he or I are non the wiser. He said he is going to contact Audi UK and see if they can find a solution and/or if any other Audi groups have reported the same issue. They have been trying to replicate the issue but are struggling to get it to throw up a fault but it has happened on 6-7 different occasions with me driving the car.
Not overly worried as the car is in warranty so I’m not forefitting any costs.
I’m just wondering if anyone here has experienced the same issue?

Thanks,

Josh

Not sure why the post has posted with a ridiculous amount of space between each paragraph - sorry!

You're probably going to need to talk to whoever retrofitted that MMI into your C5.

Sorry, I realised after it was posted it was in the wrong section. I’ve asked the mods to move. Thanks

Nevermind, if I looked at the photo, clearly C7. Moved.

I checked my oil level and it said oil level too high, reduce. Made an appointment with the dealer since they’re the ones who changed the oil.

Buy a dipstick - they don't lie.

Post what engine you have and someone will post a part number. I bought mine on eBay.
