I was inching forward and the tail lift of the truck in front raised without me knowing. Result : the tail lift corner dug into my car left matrix headlamp lens. Lens was not broken, but badly scratched and deformed. Can I get a replacement lens somewhere ? I know the whole lamp assembly would be very expensive.
And is it legal for the driver to operate the tail lift from inside the cabin ?

Typically Audi, and most manufacturers, only sell this as a complete unit and not parts. You must have been awfully close to that truck in front of you.

This is exactly why tail lift operator must ensure that there is nothing in close proximity when operating the tail lift. In my case, the tail lift was operated by the driver in the driving seat, and the tail lift was out of my sight from my driving seat.....
