2015 Q7 license plate bracket with ACC help
I'm hoping someone here can shed some light on this and help out. Can someone the me what this foam covered wired board on the back of the factory license plate bracket/holder with adaptive cruise control is and whats it purpose. When it is in the mounted position the pad is directly in front of the ACC unit on the right side of the grill.
Thanks for any help on this

Its the heater system to keep the radars' lens free of ice during heavy weather (driving through snow conditions, Iced up in the morning defrosting).

Looking to trade?
If you're looking to trade, I have a gloss black ACC plate filler (no license plate mount). I live in a front plate state, so I'm looking to get my hands on one like yours. PM me if you're interested.

Reviving an old thread.
I ordered a new filler plate via the part number of the filler plate with ACC (4L0807287AT94). The filler plate I received (ordered off Ebay) did NOT have the heater blanket as seen in the first picture in this thread, and even the picture from the Audi catalog doesn't seem to have the blanket (https://parts.audiusa.com/p/Audi_201...07287AT94.html). Anyone know if it is possible to remove the heater and put it on the new plate? If so, what "glue" or "rtv" to use to apply it?
