The cradle mount does not appear to be adjustable for different width phones or phone cases? For the magnetic mount, what do you do when you buy a new phone or case?

Okay I'll bite. Order placed. $10 for super slow shipping seems steep, though $30 for a custom mount that will mount between the vents in my TT seems cheap, so it balances out. 10% off doesn't hurt too

Well, I said I would post, but I forgot to until now.

I started by trying to leave my phone next to the hand-brake, but it was always in the way. Next, I tried a vent clip, but in an emergency stop the phone fell off and ripped out a chunk of the vents! Hard to find replacements, too
Found this post and ordered one as above, it showed up quickly, with a few extras (thanks!) But the real test is the mount itself.
My MK1 TT is usually parked during the winter but we had a few beautiful days so I pulled open the box and had the mount installed in about 5 minutes. All I can say is wow! This is absolutely the best mount I've ever used, bar none. Without the phone in place, it is hardly noticed, and I can just toss the phone up there in a second when I'm in a rush. If only I could find something like this for all cars... it should come with it from the factory!

I was worried that with the basic mag attachment that the phone would twist, since there's nothing to keep it upright, but it didn't budge.
