New Wheels
Side view.
Had a some bad luck the past few weeks. Got a screw in the shoulder area of my R/R tire that was not safely repairable so I purchase a new tire. The following week I hit a curb on the interstate coming home with a punctured sidewall of the R/F wheel. Bought another tire but found out the the wheel was bent when we ere balancing the tire. The car actually rode better than I expected with a bent wheel. It was pretty smooth at 80 mph but from about 45 to 70 mph, it wasn't a bad vibration but more a roughness. Now she rides smooth at any speeds. I've always run aftermarket wheels on my cars but I really liked the look and weight of the polished twin 7 spokes. Also the wheels that I liked, 10 spoke design close the to original Audi 9 spoke RS4, were really expensive for a plain cast wheel so I never wanted to replace them. I found a deal on a set so I pulled the trigger. These are 20x9 Road Force RF10 ET+40 with 3mm front and 12mm rear spacers, in machine face with black painted everywhere else. The machine face turned out to a little different but it works on the car. The face is not they typical polished machine face but more of a satin machine finish which matches the satin finish on the mirror covers. I like the look but getting used to not seeing the polished barrel of the factory wheel. It's only been a day but I'm starting to really like the look more and more.
I sent the wheel off to be straighten so I will probably put the factory wheels back on after I beat these wheels up for a few years.

That's my philosophy in a nut shell. Going for the look where a non car guy thinks I have a stock ride vs an Audi guy will appreciate all the little mods that were done.
