Rear S-branded Calibers (Part Numbers)
Greetings,
After several months, I've finally upgraded the rear calipers to the S-branded ones. I wanted to take a moment and share the part numbers for everyone here as this was the most time consuming process and I haven't seen them on this forum before.
Left: 8W0-615-403-H
Right: 8W0-615-404-H
Repair Kit: 8W0-698-221
As my service center said, it's a small but noticeable upgrade. I'm very pleased with the results.

I'm cheap!
the brakes on my D4 were already impressive. I painted calipers red with epoxy paint and put EBay S stickers on last year. Still looks fresh.....42.00 total cost

Uhhhhh.....::
see the spot where your sticker /emblem is? I'm quite sure that is the same spot I installed my water transfer decal. So when you say there is no place to install.........not quite sure what to make of that

Steve,
Some S4s have been shipped without a plate over the rear caliper. Unfortunately there isn’t a snap-on kit available. The only remedy would be to replace the calipers which requires part numbers. The intent of this post was to share this information for the community who would like to replace the calipers but have struggled in finding the right part number like I’ve experienced.
Hope this helps.
PS, would love to see a picture of your work.

Good Onya Yabi!
As silly as it seems to some, I have to admit, if mine had come without the "S" Calipers, I'd want to do it as well.
Care to say how much these parts cost you??

yabi, that is the first good pic I've seen of the non-S calipers. While I now admit I wouldn't exactly be tapdancing with joy if my ordered car arrived with those either, I googled those part numbers and it looks like OVER ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS for the lot of them!!??
...Please tell me you didn't actually pay out of pocket for this. You could've upgraded to drilled and slotted Stoptech rotors and track-day-ready Hawk HPS pads on all four corners for that kind of money.
This to me is about as ridiculous as the idea of paying $1250 to delete those two amber side reflectors on front of the car. The visual change occupies about the same surface area, and is simply not noticed by most people. I mean ****, these aren't even monoblock calipers we're discussing switching to. It's a ****ing dust cover over the same cheap brake.
