Default Interesting way to clean my new Q5

A friend recommended Griot's Speed Shine to clean my Q5 without having to use water. I've used it a few times and does seem to work really well. Unless the car is utterly filthy or mud covered it takes the place of a car washing. Plus it great for bug splats or other minor issues without having to do the whole car. What do you guys think of this product? Am I blinded by the light...

Been using waterless wash-several brands-for about 10 years. It has made my detailing obsession very manageable.

I have used Griot’s products in the past on my Triumphs. Thank you for reminding me about them. I’ll be using them on the SQ5 as well.

I like to Optimum No Wash when I do a quick exterior cleaning. It works great when the car is lightly dirty and I can get through the entire thing in about 1 hour.

+1 Optimum No Rinse works great....finding it very useful during Winter, when too cold to drag hose outside; this has worked well when temps in upper 20s.

I've considered the waterless products but worry about scratching. Any thoughts on that?

no issues in the past few years....I use about 5 microfiber rags: use one to clean one large area, then another clean rag for another area....I don't reuse the rags during that session....there are plenty of videos (everyone has their own technique)

Ammo has a new waterless system. A bit pricey as expected for ammo, but the reviews are pretty universally awesome, also as expected for ammo

I use it for just light dirt/grime and go through 15-20 microfiber towels just for the initial wipe, then 7-10 large waffle weave drying towels. I also do the pre-soak method by putting some of the solution in a spray bottle and spraying it on the area I'm about to clean. Let that sit for a few min then clean it.

Looks like it's all about the microfiber towels. Thanks everyone!
