Default 2019 RS5/RS5 Sportback Price

Audi RS5 Sportback Press Release

Audi Model Year 2019 - Order Guide

As noted here: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/aud...e-c-d-2955719/
The press has finally gotten there hands on the RS5 Sportback.

Starting price for both 2019 RS5 and the RS5 SB is $74,200 before $995 destination fee.

The 2019 RS5's include the following features as standard (options based on the 2019 S5 and 2019 RS5 order guide):
  • Navigation Package which was valued at $2600 on the 2018
  • Audi Phone Box (new feature estimated $200 value)
  • USB ports for rear passengers - RS5 Sportback only (new feature estimated $100 value)
  • Direct TPMS (previously a feature only available with the Dynamic Plus package)(estimated $300 value)
  • Park Steer Assist (new feature estimated $300 value)
  • (I tried to be very conservative on the estimated prices)
2018 RS5 Base was $69,900 before $995 destination fee

The 2019 RS5/RS5 Sportback starts at $4300 more then the 2018 model before adding in the added standard features.

Value of added standard features is $3500. That would make the price difference $800.

I priced out a fully loaded RS5 Sportback with everything except for the Dynamic Plus Package and it was $87,750 including destination. I'm pretty satisfied with that price especially considering that is with no discounts at all.

What do you guys think of the pricing? I'm heavily leaning toward purchasing the 2019 RS5 Sportback over the 2019 S5 Sportback at this point.

Surprised no one has jumped all over this thread. I figured people would be interested given the price is now official or at least someone to criticize my "estimated" prices of the now standard features lol.

Oh really? Can you post a link to one of those threads with the official pricing? I must have missed it.

I thought Audi does not use TPMS anymore, instead they monitor tire circumference, I am almost sure of this?

On RS cars they use real pressure monitoring since when tracking the car it is useful to have tire pressure information on a lap by lap basis.

Thanks for the tip, makes perfect sense since tire pressure is critical on the track!
