Mishar
I'm not sure how many of the members still around here on the forum remember Mishar, given a couple years back he sold his D3 and took his sailboat off to Greece for retirement. Unfortunately, Miša passed two days ago after long term illness. For a long time, he was very helpful on the forum to a lot of people, including myself. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I thought that information should be shared among those who appreciated some of his contributions to the forum over the years.

Very sorry to hear, after he had literally sailed into the sunset in recent years.
While I didn't ever meet the man personally--we emailed--a few others got to share visits with him during his D3 years. Besides his picture of many years, some of his thoughts and tips live on in the board's only sticky.

OMG! I just visited the forum today (I didn't spend much time around for a while) and among the first things I did, was to look for Mishar.
I suspected that something was wrong for quite some time now, because suddenly he didn't write anything new and also didn't respond to a private message that I sent him about a year ago, telling him that we miss him and trying to find out the reason for his absence.
I was hoping that he bought a new car and that's why he left us, but unfortunately, the worst fear came true.
While I was not very active here, I visited this forum long before I became a member, and among all the names who had a strong echo for me, was also Mishar's.
Mishar had an important contribution to the forum and if he were still with us, I know that I (as well as many of us) would have learned much from him. I will surely miss him.
R.I.P., Mishar! May you find peace wherever you are.

I'm very sorry hear this news. Although I didn't know him, in the short time I've been here, I found myself regarding him as a senior member with muck knowledge of these cars. His input will be sorely missed.
