Hi Folks

Do you by any chance know what this sensor is? it is on the dtriver side towards the front of the engine next to the power steering pump and above the oil cooler.
I initially thought it was the oil pressure sensor but it appears based on the forums that is by the oil filter housing.
I have an oil leak from this sensor as you can see in the pic.

Thanks for any response

Which engine is it? Are you really sure it's not a leak somewhere above which is dropping down onto that sensor? Try looking vertically upwards from that point with an inspection mirror and see if there's any oil pooling to the underside of something higher up.

it does not look like A6 engine. I also would side with Sverige, it is hard to imagine that the leak from the sensor would spit oil on the top of the sensor's connector. it would drip down the metal side.

As I said this is from 2007 A4 3.2 FSI. The A6 and A4 3.2 FSI engines are the same. I also poste din A4 forum but there most people own A4 2.0T no 3.2. The oil is coming form the back of the connection. It goes all over. To the left you can see the power steering pump At the bottom is the AC compressor. I cannot say for sure these are the same in A6 but the 3.2 FSi engine is the same.

Thanks

Ok this is the switch I found as well 06D919081 however, I found in this forum as well as other online resources which says that this switch is located by the oil filter. Is it possible that the A4 location is different than A6. This would not make sense.

Thanks
