Default S7: ACCIDENT ADVICE NEEDED

I dont know where to begin with this thread, but my audi was recently stolen and took a major hit on the back right rear end near the gas tank. It's a audi S7.. It's unlucky becasue I had to cut my insurance off a week before the accident happened due to financial costs..Now I have even more to pay...I took it to my local zimbrick body shop and they are quoting me 30K in repairs. If anyone knows a shop that could do it for cheaper please let me know?
If someone has done a repair similar to this let me know as well? worse case scenario I do it myself with little to no knowledge..but the right side tail light partial of the rear bumper and hatch is damaged. Im located out of WI. It's still drivable! thank goodness.. on the market looking for a audi s7 shell.

This is a very quiet board. You may want to post your question on the S7 and local boards. There are many knowledgeable people on that board that will be able to answer your question.

I'm not sure how you'd expect anyone to opine on what's involved without some pictures of the damage...unless you're just looking for people to recommend their favorite body shops.

Also, I'd be curious to know how they were able to steal it. Cloned key? Man in the middle attack without an actual key?

Best,

Here's the story to the news article some of it is out of context, but that's the gist of the story. Embarrassing..

Is there any hope for repairs of my car?

That is definitely not a repair it yourself situation. It's hard to tell without seeing more of the car, but I'd be shocked if there wasn't significant damage to the C pillar and other parts of the frame from an offset hit like that. The rear suspension and rear diff is likely mostly toast as well. I won't wag my finger at you since having to pay for this out of pocket should be "punishment" enough. This is going to require specialized work and a frame straightening setup to deal with. I probably wouldn't even want the car after it's done. It will never be right after a shot like that. You can also look forward to taking a significant hit on the resale value when you go to sell it later. That must have been one hell of an insurance payment for you to take that kind of risk. Ouch! Your friend didn't make much of an effort to intervene....

Best,
