Hi all,

I have a 2018 Audi Q5 and was in a little accident where I have to replace the front grill; after getting the bumper off I noticed that there's a plastic black molding part that also broke and I was wondering if anyone could help me find the part code? I tried to look around the part but couldn't find any markings other then a date.

From inspecting the part I see that it fastens to other parts of the frame but the piece itself, while a weird piece, should resemble the shape of the blob in the 2nd photo below. I can see all of the bolt points I would have to remove and swap in a new piece with. Since I was able to DIY remove the front bumper, I think I can also replace this piece correctly instead of trying fix the broken molded piece.

Any help would be much appreciated. It's the plastic molding that sits behind the front grill that secures the front grill on the top via 1 bolt per side. Basically it helps give shape to the accessory pieces behind the grill and front bumper.



This hard molded black plastic is immediate beneath the headlight when the bumper is removed.
