Unfortunately there are no ECU (stages) tunes available for our platform as the ECU has not been cracked. Alternatively there are DIY tune boxes, JB4 and DTE being the most popular choices.

If you’re looking for a place that’s capability of installing performance upgrades, I’d recommend Apex Tuning and Black Forest Industries located within Raleigh, NC’s Triangle.

Hope this helps, good luck!

I am suprised no one has cracked the code.
seems like that should have been cracked within months of the B9 release.
I have heard of the tuning shops you mentioned and will give them a call.
Thank you
Cheers

Can you tell me more about your experience with the JB4?
did you tune it yourself?
and does it flag the ECU if serviced by the dealer?
thanks
Chris

The JB4 is a piggyback, not an ECU tune. It is unlikely to be detected by a dealer if you are willing to go to the trouble of uninstalling it before each visit to the dealer. There is a thread dedicated to the JB4 somewhere on this forum.

I did install it myself. Its pretty easy, except for getting the OBD cable through the firewall. Just a lot of youtube and i did it myself. Does not flag the ECU at all, just make sure to remove it before you go into the dealer and your good. Nothing else needed after that. Get the bluetooth option, it is really awesome.

I use 93 octane in the state of NJ and always run MAP 3 daily. Anything over that should require a mixture of E85.

My performance mods: AWE touring, roceuro intake with ecs inlet hose and JB4 of course. On map 3 I should be right around 430-440 HP with 460 ft lbs of Torque. Those are rough numbers. Car pulls card and is a blast to drive.

All these mods are easily removable before you go into the dealer.

They also have amazing customer support via George from burger tuning.

Good luck!

They only have tune for the 2.0 A4. No release on S4.
