Is it possible to get to the green screen without purchasing a VCDS interface for my 2013 RS5? I have the aux input cable and I can't get any sound from my Apple Car Play through the RSNAV unit I just purchased & installed. I have tried holding down the "Car' and "Menu" buttons but that doesn't work. Thanks

You need something that let's you update the adaptation value that enables the green screen, be it VCDS, OBDeleven, or whatever.

I ordered the Carista Bluetooth OB2 adapter so I know that will work and in the meantime I got this $12 Aux to audio cable from Amazon which did the trick. I thought the existing cable I had would work but it was for an iPod and this is for the 3.5mm audio and so all I had to do was plug this in and then the "Aux Input" was available on my media screen and the Apple Car Play works fantastic. Thanks for the replies.

I got Carista OB2 today and it also worked to enable the green screen so I don't need to keep the Aux 3.5mm cable installed in the glove box anymore which is nice.

Can you provide more details on the updates you did to not have to use the 3.5mm AUX input? I recently installed an Android touchscreen and using the 3.5 input is not that great - sound balance issues, etc.
