2008 Audi A6 - P2402 Evap
Any ideas on how to fix 2008 Audi A6 4F25NL3.2L quattro Petrol having a P2402 code error. I changed LDP in the rear and still error keeps coming back; someone said I have to unplug the battery and clear the code or check the fuse or relays before ECM. Does anyone know what is the fuse or relay and where it's located? Next will be ECM but need help with knowing if anyone has had this error lately and what was the fix. I also changed the gas cap but not OEM - bought off Amazon. There is no rough idle as far as I can tell. Bought a OBDII reader that shows EVAP V2WR(V) = 12.337; App_D(%_ 15.3.

That error is most likely a defect in the engine control module (ECM). I had that error in my 2006 A6 Avant. After checking everything in the LDS, I determined that is was the ECM, which I replaced with an updated new ECM. With that replacement, I have had no CELs since 2019, and the engine is also running great.

Since you are in the Chicago area, you should contact Speedometer Solutions (www.speedosolutions.com) in Part Ridge, IL. He can clone your existing ECM to a new ECM so it becomes a Plug 'N Play replacement in your A6. This is the firm I used to replace my defective ECM.
