Just purchased a 2019 Q5 Prestige. Of course, the warranty had expired and since it was not an Audi dealer, and it was almost 100 miles away,
I declined their extended warranty. So my question for the group is, has anyone purchased one of the many aftermarket warranties like Car Shield

and what was your experience?

When we bought ours new, a 3rd party company did the aftermarket warranty. Honestly, it wasn't worth it. We paid $3000 over the 3 years, it would have been $200 deductible per claim (we had none), but they did give a $1000 cheque back at the end for no claims.

Heard nothing good about car shield. Heard lots of good about fidelity warranty which you must purchase from a dealer. Somewhere here you can find details on a dealer that will selll you a fidelity warranty.
