2021 Audi Q7 MMI Upgrade to B&O System
Hi Guys
Very new to this forum and am not sure from where to start but let me give it a try.
I have a base '21 Q7 (45TDi) with panoramic roof and Matrix LED headlights. I got my hand on a 2022 Q7 which is written off and have upgraded B&O sound system, Ambient lighting system as well as Black Edition accents. I'm going to dismantle it into parts btw.
Question is, can I upgrade/swap the B&O and Ambient lighting system to my base model and/or any coding will be required?
I know it might be a tough call, but as I'm already going to dismantle it, I just as well remove each and every module and cabling of this system to work for this swap.
Any thoughts, suggestions?

As both are likely MIB3 vehicles, I suspect all you need to do is move over all the components and then have the component protection cleared. But it could be more complicated with MIB3 due to all those FIC codes and related things. The actual 4M Q7 community will be able to better address the conversion.

Hello,
I came across this site: www.xtrabimmer.com where they sell OEM ambient lighting kits. I assume you were successful in swapping out the lighting into your 2021 Q7. But if not, you may want to check them out if you need installation help.
