Speedomerter over reads
Has anyone noticed the Speedometer over reads?
I use Waze often, driving at 120 kph . the phone says im only going 115 kph. I've had friends confirm with their phone also.
So if the odometer also over reads, ( i purchased an extended warranty) Ill be shorted at good 7 or 8000 KMS over ten years.
Has anyone else noticed a speed discrepancy?

The speedometer will always be high, by intention due to regulations. But 4.3% is a bit much. I put mine at around 2.5%. The margin has to account for psi variance and rolling diameter variance of all the possible configs, etc.
Which specific tire/size are you running currently?
I think I looked once before at a blockmap from a PPC and it seemed Audi removed any measuring values related to wheel rpm to linear speed conversion. So can't see what they are using as a reference like you could for B8 and B9.

My 2024 A5 SB shows more than 5% higher speed on the stock setup. Several of us have solved this discrepancy by rolling larger rims adding the difference back by increasing the wheel diameter.

I have the same problem with the speedometer. I told the service dept about it last week when I dropped the car off for an oil change. They of course "couldn't duplicate" and asked me to provide photo evidence. Photo of what?!?

If they decline, then ask for their pictures showing all is good.
