Sorry if this has been addressed and I missed it-

I purchased a 2019 A5 Sportback Prestige last week and I cannot get CarPlay to stay connected. It connects fine initially but after about 2 minutes it disconnects and then automatically reconnects. This happens every 2-5 minutes as I’m driving and sometimes it doesn’t come back on.

I’ve tried multiple cables, all of the USB ports, I’ve gone through every troubleshooting that AppleCare can do (including sending the logs to an engineering team at Apple and they determined it isn’t the phone). I even tested it with my old phone and my wife’s phone and the same problem exists.

I’ve also tried resetting the MMI and deleting all other connections... nothing has fixed it.

I have an appointment with the dealership next week for them to take a look (presumably under warranty), but if anyone else has come across what causes this I would greatly appreciate it.

Absolutely desperate to get this working properly.
