2021 Q7 MMI Car Reverse Settings
Hello,
I am having an annoying problem. Whenever I put my car in reverse, the volume of my music decreases. I have gone into the settings and made sure to not have the volume decreased when shifting into reverse. However, the MMI system does not save my settings. I have updated the MMI software recently, but this issue was there beforehand. Could I be doing something wrong? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It is most likely a security feature. They want you to be able to hear the radar beeps over loud music when backing up. I like it that way tbh, besides how much time do you spend backing up for this to be an issue?

I only ask because I would think any settings I select would be saved. Not erased and returned to default every time I turn off and turn on my vehicle. So not sure if this is just a bug in the software or if there is a solution for this.

Unfortunately MMI (depending on the version) is quite infamous for all kinds of issues regarding saving or resetting settings and shortcuts.
I have a battle of my own with Audio EQ settings resetting randomly.
