Anyone can help me diagnose the problem of the transmisssion system of my car????
My car is AUDI A6, 1996. It got the following problems:
(1)Everything is okay when the transmission is shifted to "R" and the car moves backward.
(2)When the transmission is shifted to "D" to let the car move forward, sometimes, the car loose all gears as if it was shifted to "Neutral"; sometimes, I can hear some noise such like "Ka-la Ka-la" and it seems the car loose many powers under such condition. When these happen, I always should stop the car and re-shift the transmission. Then, the car can move depend on lucky.
(3)During driving, the automatic shifting operation is not so smooth and I can feel vibration when shifts occur.
I guess there should be something wrong with the automatic transmission system. Is this caused by the Failure of Lubricated moving parts in the transmission system?
Thank you for your advice.
