Adaptive Cruise Assist Unavailable
Has any 2026 Q5 owner tried using cruise control on any type of road. This message seems to come up very often, saying Cruise assist is unavailable, just wondering.

When I first bought my "all new" 2025 Q5 a year ago, this was a frequent occurrence. But over time, the problem has gone away. I think it may be a function of what the system sees or doesn't see. It shuts off if it lacks confidence in the conditions but it returns the next time I start the car. This problem rarely happens now.
