Has anyone experienced a malfunction with the cruise (non-adaptive)? Upon searching I didn't see any posts referencing such. On more than one occasion, I've had cruise engaged, pushed the stalk away from me to cancel, and mistakenly gone to the last indention, the 'off' position. When pulling the stalk back to 'on' I get a chime and a message saying (paraphrased): 'cruise control is currently inoperable.' Once it was out for two days before beginning to work again. I haven't had a chance to call in to dealer...before doing so, I was curious if anyone had experienced a similar situation.
