Painted brake calipers?
But a stray thought hit me. Putting ANY "heavy" coating layer on metal traps heat. Painting (or better anodizing, Parkerizing, etc.) the metal flat black radiates heat most effectively and keeps the parts cooler.
So have I not noticed? (I'm distracted, I haven't been looking at pro track cars) Or is no one bothering with keeping their calipers BLACK to help cool them down? Or using anything beside heat-trapping paint?
Or aren't hot calipers something that matter?
