Took a hard right hand turn and lost the car over a curb, f@ked upthe front left rim and car shook
after impact, rim is scratched on lip about 1/3 of the circumference. I replaced the damaged rim with the full size 17' celebration spare and the shaking went away. however the steering wheel is a little off center when driving now. Hopefully an alignment will be the fix that I need to make the car perfect agian. I read on a search post that I am allowed one free alignment a year, is this correct? Also, the spare that I put on has a directional tread which is for the opposite side. I am hoping that I can get a free alignment to straighten out the steering wheel and then I plan to have the spare tire swapped with the correct tire from the damaged rim. Has anyone had any experience with this type of problem? If so I would like to hear your comments.
Also, where can I take my damaged rim to be fixed?
I am nervous that I did something worse than what I suspect, my car has just over 5000 miles on it and I am praying that I did not bend something in the drivetrain.
