Speeding ticket question.....(m)
She just got nabbbed for 45 in a 30. They wrote down everything correct EXCEPT, they didn't write down the location of the infraction.
She has never got a ticket before, so I think a judge would go easy on her if she just pleaded "guilty, with explanation." Obviously, this would be preferred to just sending the ticket in and taking the $$$/points hit. But is the no location something that she can use to contest the ticket?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, all!
Request proof a copy of any proof the office has via registered mail... if he doesn't respond send another letter, if nothing still make a call... Most likely he won't show up to court, and you win. Or there's no proof she wasn't speeding...
Now I just pay them, (and the insurance company surcharge).
I suggest the GF write out a check. Mail in her nolo plea and get a radar detector. Sometimes it's best to just pay the two dollars. (figuratively speaking)
9 points in New Hampshire. Max speed set to 75 on new Audi trip computer. Still in the break-in period.
Better yet, do traffic school if offered in your area to avoid the point.
don't know whether you could get a dismissal based on that omission, sorry.
