OK, I searched archives, but has anyone else gotten a Garret chip?

Impressions? Experiances? The Garret chip sounds very enticing. -Andrew

Haven't found much in the archives, either. I e-mailed Garrett Lim twice with questions about his chips, and each time he responded, in detail, by the next day. I've decided to get his chip for the following reasons: 1) the few people who reported in the Forum LOVE their chip; 2) he seems to be responsive to customers and happy to customize; 3) the price is right ($400); 4) he seems to like what he does and interacting with enthusiasts and 5) I'm only 2 hours away from his shop.

I have a Garrett stage II chip... it is awesome. Performance is amazing, and mileage is noticeably improved. Garrett is easy to deal with, and is quite the guru.

Charlie, I am planning to Chip in the spring and had never seriously considered the Garrett products since there is very little about them mentioned on this forum.I have 3 questions for you: 1) What is the Garret websit URL? 2) What questions did you ask them? I assume they were questions that I would also have - like boost, warranty, downtime, upgrades, etc. Would you mind posting your corresponces with them or a summary assuming they contain useful technical info?Thanks, Chris 98 1.8TQS Tip
