beat a 95 non turbo supra today with my chipped 1.8t, pretty psyched
he had about 220 horsepower so i was psyched, i had a few sweet shifts, we were pretty even at first and then i pulled away, talked to him afterward, nice guy, explained that it was non-turbo when he saw the gleam in my eyes after beating a supra. guess the throttle body adaptation i did earlier worked and i am not leaking boost! ever since gettign the chip i have spent more time worrying about my boost than enjoying the damn car! not that i could ever really stop enjoying the car! no its time to get back to my huge intro to law paper

just killed an NSX now!!! kinda....
coming home from starbux just now and saw a car that caught my attention out of the coner of my eye. i proceded to make a left when this car pulled up next to me going straight...i figured i could go straight too to go home so i backed up and pulled behind him. light turns green and he goes really slow...i thought "this guy is no fun" and as i pass him he punches it and speeds up so i can't pass...so we go from 40-80 and i'm right on his tail...we make a left and roll up to a red light...we look at each other and light turns green...we both spin our tires and i get a better start...from 0-50 i'm about a 1/2 cars length ahead...as soon as i shift to 3rd at around 50 mph i hear him roar by...at about 80 mph he is about 2 cars length ahead of me...we toyed around abit and i think he was following me home but i pulled a quick one without my signal (he was in front of me). all i have is apr chip..i'm sure he was just playing around ...but i felt good that i got a better start.

I have a 97 Supra NA 5-speed, and my 97 A4 is in the shop getting a brand spanking new turbo. Plan on chipping it when I get it back.
One of my friends has a 1.8T with the APR 1Bar Chip, K&N, and Borla cat back. He has way more low end torque and pulls pretty hard. Would probably be a very good race until about 120 (Supras - even NA's - pull really well at high speed)
One of his friends has the APR Stage 3 conversion. I will have to race him AFTER I put the 120 shot of NOS on the Supra this winter
