Shopping for new all-season tires.

I was wondering if somebody could make a suggestion as far a all-season tire for somebody living in Chicago.

I am thinking either Pirelli P7000 Super Sport or Yokohama AVS dB.

Any comments ?

I've heard P7000 perform very poorly in the snow,as for an all-season.What size are you looking for?

Dunlop SP 5000. I ran the Yokohama AVS S4V (replaced by db) & they only did well in snow/ice when

they were brand new. Dry performance was moderately good, but they were a little loud, hence the changes to the db, which I don't think it changed performance - just the noise level. At times, I swear they were marshmellows and lost grip. Wet traction was great with the two grooves, but that took away from the snow performance. I found that the tires would "wonder" in the snow, which I think it was because of those two grooves. Personally, I wouldn't buy them again, especially since they came up 10k miles short of their 40k warranty. Thanks to TireRack, I got ~25% of my money back, which I used towards Dunlop Winter Sport M2 tires on AT Atalia S5 16" wheels.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/tires/dunlop/du_s5000.jsp">http://www.tirerack.com/tires/dunlop/du_s5000.jsp</a</li></ul>

New Pilot Sport A/S?

Had Pilot XGT-Z4s and they were good all season tires. If you took corners gently the torque locking sipes don't lock and feel a little squirmy. But a little gas or more steering input and they lock right up.
